Dental sealants are a thin coating of material (resin) that fills the pits and grooves of the permanent molars.

This will create a barrier that protects the enamel from food and plaque keeping the tooth healthy. The whole process only takes about 10 minutes with no numbing or drilling! We will clean the tooth with our special tooth shampoo, flow the sealant material into the grooves and harden it with a light. Sealants should provide several years of protection against decay.
